There are 2 outcomes for tossing a coin (heads and tails) There are 6 outcomes for tossing a single die (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

4 PROBABILITY (Book) How likely something is to occur

5 COMPLEMENT The opposite of an event.
Example: The probability of rain is 45%. The complement, no rain, is 55%. **The probability of an event plus its complement must equal 100%

6 HOW TO READ THE PROBLEM P(A) is read “the probability of A happening is”
