2 VALMIKI JAYANTI- Valmiki Jayanti was observed in the school on 4th Oct
VALMIKI JAYANTI- Valmiki Jayanti was observed in the school on 4th Oct. Students of class VII remembered the great sage and his philosophical teachings by depicting a small skit, to pay tribute to him DIWALI AND BHAI DUJ- Diwali the festival of lights was observed in the school. Class VIII students depicted a small skit, symbolizing the victory of knowledge over ignorance. Students also vowed to celebrate an eco-friendly diwali saying no to crackers and lighting earthen lamps/ diyas.

3 FUN FAIR- Fun Fair are the annual events organized by the school after a hectic academic routine. On 6th Oct J.V.M. Sholtu was busy enjoying the fun-fair, which included a lot of independent fun events, games, food stalls, exhibition corner, lottery and many more. Parents, students and teacher community met and socialized to build up interpersonal and social skills. The games stall were buzzing with children and parents. The food stalls serving delicious Indian and Chinese cuisine. The volunteers for the fun-fair wonderfully managed the games and food stalls. The fun-fair was a platform, for the students to express their confidence and talents.

5 PAINTING COMPETITION- Painting competition sponsored by S.J.V.N. Ltd. for Energy Conservation was held in J.V.M. Sholtu on 10th October. Children participated actively understanding the value and necessity of saving power. It was a great step by Ministry of Power about preparing young minds for future and sensitizing the school children towards Energy Efficiency LAPTOP WINNERS- Bright students of J.V.M. Sholtu, received laptops from the Deputy Director, Reckong Peo. Govt. of H.P. for their outstanding performance in class 10 and 12th board exam. About 15 laptops were received by our young J.V.M. students. Congratulation, children for bringing laurels to the school. 6 SCIENCE CONGRESS- Science is extremely inspiring and interesting
SCIENCE CONGRESS- Science is extremely inspiring and interesting. It offers the students the ability to access wealth of knowledge. Children Science Congress, organised by Department of Education in Collaboration with H.P. state council for science technology and environment was held in October. Talented students of J.V.M. Sholtu not only participated but also had brought laurels for the school. Two students were selected for state level. Admirable children, let us illuminate the world through science and technology.

8 STUDENTS COUNSELLING – Counselling was held for the senior students of J.V.M. Sholtu. Counselors from Vidya Mandir (Shimla) guided and helped the students understand their educational requirements and trainings. They tried to give the students a better framework to plan their future career proactively. Armed Forces also offer excellent career opportunities to the young candidates. On Oct, 268 Engineer Bridge Regiment, Ambala visited the school. Captain Neeraj motivated and encouraged the students to join the armed forces and guided the children to a successful career in defense forces.

9 ADOLESCENCE EDUCATION PROGRAMME- With the aim to develop accurate and healthy attitudes, Adolescence Education Programme was conducted on 25th Oct through C.S.R. department of J.S.W. The experts Ms Bharti Bhund from Tamil Nadu and Ms. Sasha from Himachal counseled the students. The session was attended by girls of class 6 to 12th . The experts interacted about adolescence as a growth, transition and its sociological and psychological aspects. The counselors imparted education about good mental, physical health and a sense of general well-being to our growing young girls OPEN HOUSE MEETING- Open house, for class IX to XII was held on 26th Oct. The parents community of class IX to XII were invited. Such open house meeting bridge the gulf between teachers and parents. They give the teachers a good chance to gain support from the parents. Parents also get opportunity to interact about their child development.

10 SPORTS- The young players of J. V. M
SPORTS- The young players of J.V.M. Sholtu are selected to play at national level for football and basketball. They will represent the state of Himachal Pradesh. 11 FIRE DRILL- A method of practicing the evacuation of a building during fire and learning first aid is an essential part of J.V.M. curriculum.
