Turn and Talk Yesterday we began working with two articles about comets. The first is “Comets Are Coming…Again” and the second is “Comets.” Based on our first Learning Target, “I can use textual evidence to determine the central ideas in a text,” we got the main ideas on chucks of text in “Comets Are Coming…Again.” You were to do the same with chunks of text in “Comets” for homework. Discuss the main ideas you determined and the evidence used to make your determination.
