2 The God who sees me Psalm 8: 3-4 When I look at your heavens,
the work of your fingers The moon and the stars, Which you have set in place What is man that you are mindful of him? Who am I that you notice me?

3 The God who sees me Genesis chapters 16 & 21
In God’s Greatness and Goodness He sees all we think and do and say He desires the very best for us He will lead us and provide for us if we will only trust, obey & submit Beware of trying to help God out Jesus saves – Jesus alone

4 The God who sees me God doesn't ask for our help
God does not run a democracy He longs for our obedience and worship Making our own plans is rebellion, sin the cause of all personal, family & society problems Do things in God’s timing and wisdom, not ours

5 The God who sees me V8 The angel asked: “Hagar, Sarai’s servant,
where do you come from and where are you going? Hagar: I’m running away from my mistress, Sarai.” Return to your mistress and submit to her authority. I will give you more descendants than you can count Call him Ishmael - “God Hears”

6 The God who sees me V13 Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the LORD, who had spoken to her “You are the God who sees me” awesome So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which means ‘well of the living one who sees me’) Hagar submitted

7 21: When Isaac grew and was about to be weaned, Abraham prepared a huge feast to celebrate the occasion. But Sarah saw Ishmael ... making fun of her son, Isaac. So she turned to Abraham and demanded “Get rid of that slave woman and her son. He is not going to share the inheritance with my son, Isaac. I won’t have it.” This upset Abraham very much because Ishmael was his son. But God told Abraham, “Do not be upset over the boy and your servant. Do whatever

8 Sarah tells you, for Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted. But I will also make a nation of the descendants of Hagar’s son because he is your son too.” So Abraham got up early the next morning, prepared food and a container of water, and strapped them on Hagar’s shoulders. Then he sent her away with their son, and she wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of Beersheba.
