HAVS In Anglia In Anglia we utilise vibrating tools in Offtrack, P’way, S&T, OLE staff Scale of the problem: 250 staff – HAVS medical assessment each year 400 staff – HAVS questionnaire / yr 3 year rotation cycle Objective of providing 80% of used plant where the trigger time for an entire shift will not exceed overall HAVs exposure for the shift. 22-May-19

HAVS Tool Labelling Torrent is labelling all Network rail tools with the labels as shown below, ensuring the correct information is entered on the Labels from the manufacturers data as contained on Network Rail’s Noise and Vibration Datasheet. Our mission is that all our workforce in Anglia is to shift from tools with higher emissions, and choose the ones that are green. 22-May-19

HAVS Surveillance Route’s HAVS health surveillance progressed very well, after the problems we experienced last year. o Tier 2 Annual HAVS questionnaires; 100%. o Tier 3 Assessments, 100%. o All Tier 4 escalations have been booked, a total of 16 escalations from the current year. 22-May-19

Presentation Title: View > Header & Footer HAVS pack for Line Managers in Anglia The HAVS Pack contains: HAVS Factsheet, HAVS Flowchart, and HAVS Employee weekly Record Sheet Appendices: HMAP, Level 1 sample and flowchart, NR HAVS tool label More HAVS pack briefings scheduled across the route with line managers supported by the Workforce Health and Safety Advisors We have specific samples for specific areas for the HAVS Employee Weekly Record Sheet being used across Anglia We are getting more tools with low vibration as seen in Ely Recording of time is improving across the route Health Surveillance has greatly improved and we are 100% for both Tier 2 and Tier 3. We are below ELV and at times below EAV as evidenced with the HAVI monitoring As demonstrated by some couple of recording samples Limit is number of staff at present. 22-May-19
