Journal: Pretend that you are the Handicapper General in “Harrison Bergeron.” Your job is to handicap, or hinder, the strengths of anyone who is special or gifted in any way – intelligence, appearance, athleticism, strength, skill, etc.

As you watch, complete the Venn Diagram on the back of the graphic organizer you worked on yesterday. Things to consider:
What is changed/altered from the text to the film?
What can you visualize in the film that you couldn’t in the text?
Where and how do you see the characteristics of dystopia in both versions?
