Annotation: Questions
When annotating for questions, we will note the questions we have that relate to the text.

Annotation: Questions
There are four categories of questions we can ask: Right There: the answer is in the text, we can point right to it. Think and Search: the answer is in the text, but we have to look at a few places to piece it together. Author and Me: the answer is not in the text, but you still need information that the author gives, plus what you know, to answer. On My Own: you don’t even have to read the text to be able to answer it.

“A God Who Remembers” Why does Wiesel believe that he, and other survivors, must “bear witness” and tell their stories? How would Wiesel respond to our unit inquiry question: why should we care about social issues and injustice in the world?
