5 Today's Plan: Pass back and review any remaining assignments from the chapter. Take a practice test to help you prepare for tomorrow's test over Chapters 9-11 Be sure you've turned in to the basket your lab from yesterday.

is equivalent to The Conservation of Linear Momentum Mv = mV Musicians understand this because they have probably seen the "old fashioned" metronomes before. The closer you move the mass to the axis, the faster the metronome moves and clicks.

15 Practice Test At this time, you will take a simulated test to help you prepare for tomorrow's actual test. NOTE: this covers Chapters 9, 10, 11 in text. You may use your notes, portfolio, text, etc. Please work independently, do not work or talk with anyone else. -- This is to give you some extra independent practice prior to the ACTUAL test scheduled for tomorrow. When done with the test, remain quiet and continue studying until everyone has completed the test.

Use time wisely - Study for the test. Complete the lab activity from yesterday and submit. Organize notebook and/or portfolio. Note on lab: to answer the question in Step 6, recall from the discussion section that the baby elephant is 2 m away from the fulcrum.
