1 “THE JOURNEY FROM ORDINARY TO OBEDIENT”
Philippians 4:6-8

2 Acknowledge the call is for me.

3 1 John 3:17 ~ But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

4 Luke 6:46 ~ Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?

5 James 1:22 ~ But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

6 James 4:17 ~ So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

7 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

8 Philippians 4:6 ~ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

9 Philippians 4:7 ~  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

10 Acknowledge the call is for me.
Acknowledge the God who calls me.

11 Philippians 4:8 ~ Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

12 God is INFINITE. Isaiah 40:12-13

13 12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?

14 13 Who has measured the Spirit of the Lord, or what man shows him his counsel?

15 The God of... Infinite mystery. Romans 11:33-35

16 33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God
33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! 34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?

17 35 “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”

18 The God of... Infinite mystery. Romans 11:33-35 Infinite provision. Acts 17:24-25

19 24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.

20 The God of... Infinite mystery. Romans 11:33-35 Infinite provision. Acts 17:24-25 Infinite sameness. Hebrews 13:8

21 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

22 The God of... Infinite place. Jeremiah 23:23-24

23 23 “Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away
23 “Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away? 24 Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.”

24 The God of... Infinite place. Jeremiah 23:23-24 Infinite knowledge. Psalm 94:9-11

25 9 He who planted the ear, does he not hear
9 He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see? 10 He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge—11 the Lord—knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.

26 God glorifying obedience reveals we aren’t enough, but God is.
