Vocabulary A. 1. equivocate- to speak or act in a way that allows for more than one interpretation. 2. nebulous- cloud-like, or, vague, hazy and unclear. 3. slovenly- untidy, dirty, careless Homework Journal: Practice point of view. Write half the page about something important that happened to you. Then write the other half of the page about the same event from the point of view of another person that was there.

Finishing Your Body Paragraphs
Take a look…pay attention to comments. Circle your analysis verbs. Make sure your literary devices DO something. ELABORATE. Some of you are stopping too soon. Explain your ideas fully. Be more explicit than you think you need to be. Don’t ignore your adjectives! Why did you describe the device that why? Explain. Diction= specific words. Don’t be generic.

Bring to class tomorrow. Bring your textbook and workbook. Make sure each paragraph is focused on one literary device. Pay attention to your notes and the samples.
