2 Tales on Moon Lane We are an award-winning children’s bookshop with the aim to promote a life-long love of reading. We have children and families at the heart of everything we do. We recognise the impact our practices have on the planet and actively seek ways to improve our services and choose the best products available. 4 Start planning Talk to your colleagues, get everyone involved and make sure you all understand why this is important. Read about green solutions, find sources you can trust, talk to your customers and suppliers. Is there a product/ service for this already? Some of the green solutions will soon be required by law and there are already companies that provide them. Who can do it with us/ for us? 5 Behind the scenes Switch to a green energy supplier, use ethical and sustainable suppliers where possible. Recycle and reuse where possible: paper and cardboard, damages, POS. Green office stationery: recycled paper, non-toxic ink, BPA free till roll, recyclable tape. 6 Encourage customers to use less.

7 Ask about green credentials.
Supply chain Ask about green credentials. Refuse unsolicited mail, ask to opt-in for marketing materials, catalogues, samples. Talk to your reps about greener options, ask other local traders for advice. @talesonmoonlane @moonlaneink talesonmoonlane

8 Change is good You know your business better than anyone.
