Where possible, coordinate the language provided (and student language) to the actions occurring onscreen.

To use the pointer pen option to write numbers as provided by students: Click Slide Show. Click From Beginning. Right click mouse. Click Pointer Options. Select Pen.
To start at a specific slide: Click on Slide Show. Scroll to the Slide you want. Click From Current Slide.
Touch Screens
If you have a touch screen you can use that instead of your mouse.

2. Say: Here is an arrow. When I click the mouse (or touch the screen) the arrow will fly off the screen to the top or bottom side.
Ask: Can you know which side the arrow will fly off the screen when I click the mouse?
Ask: What are your chances of guessing which side the arrow will go? (50/50)
Say: Write down your guess for the first arrow.
Click to fly the arrow.
Ask: Did you guess correctly?
Repeat for 9 more guesses.
Ask: Did you guess some correctly and others incorrect? Why do you think that happened?
Ask: How lucky would you have to be to guess correctly 10 out of 10 times?

4. Say: Here is an ball. When I click the mouse (or touch the screen) the ball will move off the screen to the left or right side or to the bottom.

Ask: What are your chances of guessing which side the ball will go?
Ask: Are your chances greater than or less than 50-50? Why do you think that?
Ask: If I move the ball off 10 times, how many correct guesses do you think you will make? Why do you think that?
Say: Write down your guess for the first move.
