Keep a running list of flash cards for our Word Wall Words: I, can, the, we, see, a, like, to, and, go, you, do, my, are, with, he, she, was, for, have, of, they, said, want, here, me, this, what!
We Are Learning About…
Reading: We will focus on the letters Yy and Zz and the sight words this and what. We will reread to help us understand stories better. We will utilize all reading strategies together to help us solve tricky words. Reading Essential Question: What do you know about our country?
Writing: We will practice printing Yy and Zz as well as writing fluent sentences to explain where we want to visit in the USA!
Math: We will begin GoMath Chapter 9: Identify and Describe 2D Shapes!
Science: We will delve deeper into The Phases of the Moon!
Social Studies: We will connect to our reading big question and explore places to travel in the USA . We will also focus on the character trait cooperaction as we prepare for first grade!
