2. How it works
My idea uses radioactive waste to grow radiotrophic fungus (fungus that consumes radiation), then process the mushrooms into useful products.

nitrogen and other fertilizers
radioisotope waste from medical machines, industrial machines, and power plants.
fungal cells

4. What would it look like
The growing areas would be similar to a conventional mushroom farm. They too would have large thin square trays for the most growth area and easy harvesting. Mine would be different in the fact that they would be enclosed in some kind of radio opaque shell.

5. Products created
Possible items that could be produced include food, biofuel, medicines, and construction materials or insulation from the mycelium, the “roots” of the mushrooms.

6. Where it be marketed
This system of recycling would be useful in countries with little water, countries with large amounts of nuclear waste (like france or russia) or countries with insufficient farmland (like iceland or switzerland).
