Warm-Up: Take a ¼ sheet from the tan bin. Place any late homework on your desk. Answer the following question on your ¼ sheet. Which of the following words could be used in a description of Maleeka from The Skin I’m In and the type of person she is? Posture: The way you hold your body when you stand or sit. Resolve: To settle or find a solution to something. Physique: The shape and size of a person’s body. Institution: A place to care for people with mental conditions. Sacrifice: The act of giving up one thing to save another. Isolation: Separation from others. Meditate: To sit quiet and still in order to think deeply.
