2. Balanced Forces Balanced forces = no change in motion
This happens when the net force on an object is zero Newtons
Net force- the combination of all forces acting on an object
Newton- the unit of measurement for force

3. Unbalanced Forces Net force does not equal zero
Change the motion of the object
Have direction

4. Arrows are used to indicate force.
Arrows of the same size indicate forces of the same size which indicated a Net Force of Zero Newtons.

5. The force to the right 18 Newtons
The Force to the left Newtons
The Net Force is the difference in these because they are acting in opposite directions from each other. The force will go in the direction of the larger force.

6. One force to the right 25 N
The other force to the right 20 N
Add the forces together to find the net force if they are going in the same direction.
