You need to be able to know how to be ready for work in terms of the following areas:
Dress code (appropriate clothing for situations)
Presentation (personal appearance and grooming)
Attitude (Responsive, can do attitude)
You should have an understanding of why this is important for yourselves as well as the organisations

Presenting an image that says you are prepared for work, which includes being ready to represent the organisation to any visitors and show the importance of personal presentation.
Dress code:
Some organisations have dress codes that require a uniform or a dark suit.
Others may be happy if everyone arrives in t-shirts and jeans
Whatever the code, employees must dress appropriately for the situation they are in.
Presentation:
Clean clothes and good personal hygiene help give a professional impression
Others need to feel comfortable when working closely with people
Good grooming shows respect for the organisation and colleagues
Attitude:
People with a “can do” attitude are positive about their ability to achieve and be successful.
This is even if things don’t go to plan.
Someone who has a responsive attitude readily accepts change and is open to suggestions made by others.

Kinds of question you might be asked in an interview for an IT role:
What interests you about this position?
What are your technical certifications?
What languages have you programmed in?
What technical websites do you follow?
Describe a time when you were able to improve upon the design that was originally suggested.
Describe the most innovative change that you have initiated and what you did to implement this change.

7. Today’s Activity
Part 1 – Use the same website as last lesson to pick a job role. Prepare some types of interview questions and a script of answers. Work together in pairs to produce your questions and answers
Part 2 – Now you will conduct a role play showing the interview for your pairs chosen job role. You will need to conduct this as if you are in a real life situation.
