1 Lab safety rules You must present your lab safety rules, signed, in order to do this lab If you lost your copy, go to the weebly site, print out a copy (under class materials), read it, sign it and put it in your science folder Read #2, #3, #12, #20 and #27 Highlight or put a star next to each one At the bottom of page 2, write the following: 28. Do not touch any of the materials or equipment on any table other than the one to which you were assigned. Obtain permission before taking materials or using equipment at other stations. Write your initials at the end of the statement

2 Procedure for lab day Come inside, put your bag against the wall, take out the materials listed on the overhead and go to your assigned table Stand there until I tell you that you can start. Don’t touch anything on the table in the meantime. Do not come inside and stand in the middle of the room, look around, touch anything on any table, sit down, stare at me, etc. If we have to wait even 5 minutes to start the lab, we won’t have enough time to finish demonstration instead of a hands-on activity
