how long the rubber bands will stretch in different temperatures of water

i picked this experiment because i thought it would be cool to see what i would need to do if i ever need a strecher rubber band i need to know what to do

4. hypothesis
if i put the rubber band attached to the weight in the warm/hot water it will stretch farther.

5. variables *independent (what will change) / tempture of water
*dependent (what will not change) / length of rubber band
*constants (what will be the same) / type of rubber band,type of liquid,type of weight

6. procedures
1.get all of suplies(padlock,2 rubberbands,stove top,freezer,water bottle,cup(same size as bottle)
2.put ruber band on padlock and tied it to water bottle
3.heat water put it in cup
4.let it set for 10 min.
5.test rubber band
6.put cold water in bottle
7.let it set for 10 min.

8. conclusion
the hot water rubber band stretched the farthest than the cold water rubber band
