Reading: Fables: elements of a fable, making predictions, making inferences, theme and moral of story
Math: Addition and subtraction word problems- with regrouping and multiple steps
Language arts:
Word study- dictation, sentences, Notebooks will come home daily for practice
Grammar- apostrophes and contractions synonyms/antonyms
Writing- finish MLK writing

Reminders for the week:
Please remind your child to dress warm on cold winter days
We will go outside for recess daily at 10:30 a.m. (it’s cold during this time)
Our lunch scheduled has changed – we will now eat from 12:10-12:40 daily
Due to the change in our lunch
schedule, students may now bring a morning snack
Snacks MUST BE healthy!
Examples are carrots, apples,
graham crackers, celery, etc.
Any sugary or non-healthy snacks
will not be permitted
