Club Rules & Membership Details
These slides should be passed to new members before they join the club.
Any member disobeying the rules will be given a verbal warning, followed by a written warning should the same – or a similar problem – occur.
Any act of gross misconduct will result in immediate suspension of membership. This will be followed by a full consultation with the club committee. The club chairman has the final say on whether or not the person/s should be permanently or temporarily excluded from the club.

2. Club Rules Club members only are permitted to use the Golf Course
When circumstances allow, and on special open days, guests may be entitled to use the Golf Course
There is a charge for this provision that has to be made when the session is booked
Any person using the Golf Course must wear appropriate clothing
The special days will be posted on the club notice board in the reception area.
Charges vary according to the time of year and duration of the booked session.
Clothing is available for purchase or hire from the club shop. A returnable deposit will be required for any items hired.

3. Guest Rules
Guests may use the social facilities and Driving Range subject to the following:
They must be accompanied by a member at all times
They must be signed in by a fully paid member
They are required to pay a charge for use of the Driving Range
At busy times Members will be given priority for use of the Driving Range. However, any guest that has booked and paid for the use of Driving Range will still be able to use the facility irrespective of the number of Members waiting.

4. Social Club Rules
All members and their guests are asked to abide by the following Social Club rules:
Only smart clothing may be worn in the Social Club
Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in the Social Club
All golf clubs, bags and balls should be left in the lockers provided in the changing rooms and not brought into the Social Club
The Social Club will engage in special events – buffet dances, guest singers and speakers, etc. At such times the Social Club may not be available for general use.
Food and drink brought in by Members may be consumed in the Members room or on the terrace.
There is no charge for use of the lockers. However, a charge of £10 will be incurred for lost locker keys.

5. Termination of Membership
The club reserves the right to terminate membership without notice without reimbursement of paid fees
Members are required to give one month’s notice should they wish to leave the club
Upon termination of membership, membership cards and any hired equipment must be returned to the club immediately
Members are required to subscribe to the club for a minimum of 12 months in the first year. If the membership is terminated by the club due to a misdemeanour by the member, then no part of this fee will be reimbursed. However, the club committee will make the final decision based upon the severity of misdemeanour.
After the initial 12 month membership, members may resign from the club at any time providing that they give one full month notice. If they resign prior to their 12 month stay, no fees will be reimbursed.
There are several exceptions to this rule. Namely:
Death of member or immediate family member
Accident resulting in disability
Relocation of job
Redundancy or termination of employment*
