Exhortations : :17-20, 25-27 Roman saints are exhorted to “admonish one another” since they were filled with “all goodness and knowledge” 15:14 Unless they practiced the principles taught in Rom 14, they could not accomplish this

Exhortations : :17-20, 25-27 Paul admits he wrote “boldly” :15a He did so to “remind” the saints of certain truths re: salvation, etc :15b-16 Paul would only boast in Christ and his labors for His kingdom :17-19

Exhortations : :17-20, 25-27 They were to be “wise in what is good, and innocent in what is evil” :19 In the end, God would “crush Satan under their feet” :20 Based on faith, knowledge of truth

Travel Plans :22-33 Paul had long desired to come to Rome, but he was “hindered” v :9-10 This “hindrance” = his pressing work to go “where Christ was not named” :20-21 No longer a need “in these regions” v. 23
