The stereotypes for gay people are: Bright coloured t shirt. High pitch voices Make up. Ear pierced. Fake tan (orange) Tight jeans. Bright blonde hair. Stereotypically emotional.

This video shows the stereotype of gay people In the media on TV. Some gay people get offended by the way some gay people are presented in media as it might change peoples views. This video shows the stereotype being defeated as it shows a regular boy coming out to his dad and is scared to tell him as his dad does not suspect it.

Lesbians are being more involved in the industry as they haven’t been as big in as gay people. For example, they are now more in children's films to educate them more.

Ellen Lee DeGeneres Ellen Lee DeGeneres is an American comedian, television host, actress, writer, and producer. During the fourth season of Ellen in 1997, she came out as a lesbian in an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. the series went on to explore various LGBT issues, including the coming-out process. This made her the first openly lesbian actress to play an openly lesbian character on television.
