3 The presenter discussed the importance of being introspective, specifically as it pertained to fear and anger. Why is it important to be introspective about these matters according to the ideas presented in the video?

Pair up and choose one person to be the client and one person to be the counselor. Work through the following scenario: The client presents the problem of having habitual bad dating relationships. Every time he or she engages in a relationship, the person he or she is dating is verbally abusive. This most recent relationship has turned physically abusive as well.

16 In the course of your discussions, how did the relevance of introspection come into play? In other words- how did you help your client start looking inside themselves for potential reasons why they habitually find people to date who are mean.
