2. Motivation Classical literature and novels over time. Reasons
Important as it is to have relatable literature, knowing the classics allow students to be immersed in literature of history.
Novels such as mythological allow students to understand where western culture derived from.
Stories from these time periods were designed to be acted out; giving students the opportunity to act them out can connect them closer to the readings. .
Are reasons, support the literature I want to teach? Do I need to pick the novels and list them on the slides? How do I brake up the book/novel?

3. Time line and Resources(see notes)

? We’ll read and discuss book as a class before tackling the novel with projects.
? Begin activates/projects, using the assignments during the reading period.
? Begin play activities that students will perform out in class
Resources
Text, film clips, students with acting skills.
Technology – such as, internet, film applications (apps-iMovie)
Unsure about timeline, confused with units and and year long plan? How does this work?

4. Setting the goals? Devising a plan that will use time wisely
Creating a system and strategy that brings the student into the literature, perhaps creating two plays, one designed around western world and the other the eastern world (costumes, hair styles, etc..)
