Excited about the forthcoming Eid celebrations Want to get back home to celebrate Eid with their families and friends Because of this you might be tempted to: Leave your worksite early before shift change Drive private cars in the night Travel in private cars after a full days shift Drive at too high a speed Travel long distances whilst tired

EID - Road Safety Alert After Ramadan, many people forget in the excitement that – Their bodies are weakened from fasting Their normal daily energy cycles are altered Remember, excitement does not mean that you can overcome tiredness. Driving whilst tired is a KILLER.

Remember the basic road safety rules
PLAN: get approval for Your journey and allow sufficient time. WEAR: your seatbelts and ensure all your passengers also do OBEY: the Traffic Rules-do not speed. NO: overtaking at restricted area. AVOID: driving at night-when the risks are higher. NO: using GSM while driving. AVOID: using private vehicles in the interior. REST: when you feel tired.
