Proportional Relationships:
Must have a constant rate of change (linear). Graph goes through the origin. It starts at (0,0). When one variable doubles, triples, halves, etc, the other variable does the same When x = 0, y = 0 Nothing added or subtracted in the equation All ratios are equal. If you make the ratio 𝑦 𝑥 for any pair of variables, you get a constant rate (which is called the constant of proportionality).
