“They have no wine” God works even within life’s ordinary dilemmas. “My hour has not yet come” God is big enough to accommodate flustered emotions but is quicker to respond when we exercise faith. “Do whatever he tells you” God can do amazing things with obedient children!

9 Six stone water jars for the Jewish rites of purification” God can use the ordinary to accomplish the extra-ordinary - God cares about our day to day issues. “They filled them to the brim” God gives in abundance not to waster but to bless us, that we may bless others.

10 “Now draw some out and take it to the chief steward” (the one in charge of making sure the party goes according to plan) God allows those who walk in obedience to see the miraculous. “The water had become wine” God desires for transformation to occur as long as we are obedient … but in his timing! “But you have kept the good wine until now” God doesn’t give just enough - he gives more than what we will need.
