What are Multiple Intelligences?
Dictionary Answers: Intelligence:capacity for learning, reasoning, understandi ng, and similar forms of mental activity; aptitude in grasping truths, relations hips, facts, meanings, etc. Multiple: more than one of something; many Multiple Intelligences are the eight (multiple) ways people think or learn (intelligence).

Kinesthetic Intelligence
This intelligence is the ability of learning with your body easier. Example: Instead of READING or LISTENING to a story you would UNDERSTAND the story EASIER and ENJOY it MORE if you acted it out as a play. Someone with this intelligence could be an athlete, gym coach, OR even YOU!!

Intra-in The knowledge of knowing yourself more than others. Inter-out The knowledge of knowing and caring for others more than yourself. Intrapersonal Interpersonal

Verbal/Linguistic Verbal/Linguistic is the intelligence of learning better with words. Example: Instead of REMEMBERING what to get at the store it would be EASIER to WRITE a list to take with you.

Naturalistic intelligence is the knowledge of nature and science. Example: You might enjoy nature and animal science more than math or other subjects.

This is the intelligence of solving problems logically and mathematically. Example: Instead of using CHARTS AND GRAPHS(visual techniques) on a test to make the problem easier you would solve the equation in your MIND.

Musical Intelligence You can read music, write music, and perform music easily. Example: You remember phone numbers in a EASIER when singing it in a rhythm.

Visual/Spatial Intelligence
If you're Visually Gifted you learn best with pictures, you are artistic, and you're good at explaining how pictures look. Example: You would be able to solve a problem that says: “How many sides does a cube have?”, easier and faster if you could hold a cube and count its sides.
