WARREN’S COURT The 1960’s were a time of a lot of protests. The ideas of individuals rights became more important. As is often the case these battles were fought in the courts. The Supreme Court led by Chief Justice Earl Warren made several decisions that changed the nature of law enforcement. Task: In pairs, read at least 3 cases decided by Justice Warren and complete the graphic organizer by identifying the decision of the court.

Rights of the Accused In the 1960s under the Warren Court, the Supreme Court handed down decisions that vastly expanded the rights of the accused in the United States.
