Students will become internationally minded lifelong learners who have the skills for college and/or career readiness. Multiple pathways to learning Culture of risk-taking and “failing up” Rigorous and relevant content and assessment Application of knowledge to make real-world connections Foundation Small Group Instruction Integrated Digital Content Student Reflection Data-Driven Decisions Differentiated instruction for EACH small group Small groups are students Identify 2 or 3 design models and post them on door so students are aware of expectations Instruction aligned with WPW framework Relevant, rigorous digital content that extends the content Utilize Google Classroom as a platform Hold students accountable for their progress in digital content (ie Padlet, Anchor Chart) Students complete process journals weekly and end of each unit Allow students to work with other students to receive peer feedback Students keep a (digital) portfolio to reflect on the progress of their work Groups are created purposefully using multiple data sources Collaborative teaming to use data to inform instruction Students use their data to set goals Action Systems and Support for PL Videotaping our champions Student feedback Peer observations Coach visit/team teaching Implement walkthrough tool Continued learning with Education Elements Champions share successes/teaching tidbits with staff Wish List Longer class periods Weekly early release time in calendar Trimesters Increase in champions Increase in technology Complete your school visioning model here. © 2015 Education Elements
