The Basics!
Hi! My Name is Ms. Lee! I will be your child’s 2nd grade teacher for the school year! This will be my 3rd year teaching at P.S 20 Anna Silver Elementary. At P.S. 20 I have taught both 4th and 2nd grade, I also have experience in grades K-5.
I LOVE teaching and creating fun and engaging lessons and activities! When I am not teaching and creating I enjoy spending time with my family (especially my dog Daisy!), bike riding, and reading.
I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl! My second grade teacher was a big influence for me as an educator. She helped me grow so much. She was caring, made learning fun, and never gave up on me. My goal as an educator is to be that awesome teacher to my students as my second grade teacher was to me. My goal as an educator is to help students reach their fullest potential and to instill a love for learning.
I can’t wait to start this awesome year with my new second grade friends, we have so much fun in store for us this year, I am excited to make this the best year yet!

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education B-6 from Dowling College. I am currently going back to school at St. Johns University for a dual masters in Literacy and ENL.
My Childhood!
I grew up in Deer Park, New York. I am the oldest child in the family. I have a younger sister and brother. As a child I loved to ride my bike, play with Barbie Dolls, Pokémon, and horseback ride.
