4 Logo History

5 Logo Options

6 Acceptable Use of Logos
NACD logos are the most visible assets we have as an organization. Their simple design is memorable and classic, and foundational to our brand identity. Help us maintain the effectiveness of NACD’s Conservation “C” and full logos by using them consistently and correctly.

7 How and when can I use NACD’s logos?
NACD’s new logo should always be used as NACD’s logo whenever you are referencing NACD. This includes: On your website On signage and programs for NACD region meetings On products or resources that were created or distributed by NACD When you are using NACD’s logo, please do NOT: Recreate, stretch, compress, or distort NACD’s logos. Use a screenshot of a logo for a print publication. Enlarge a logo until it becomes "grainy" or distorted. Add elements, lines, or otherwise modify a logo's colors.

8 How and when can I use NACD’s logos?
You CAN use NACD’s Conservation ”C” logo as part of your district’s or state association’s logo. However, please do NOT use the full logo with “National Association of Conservation Districts” spelled out under the Conservation ”C” as part of your district logo. If your district uses NACD’s old green or blue and yellow logo as part of its logo, you are not required to update it with NACD’s new logo, although it is encouraged.

9 Logo Files and Questions
Logo files (.PNG, .PDF, .JPG, .EPS, .AI) are available on NACD’s website under News and Events > Newsroom > Media > Logo To make custom requests (such as for a different file format or size for a specific application), please contact: Whitney Forman-Cook Director of Communications (direct office line)

10 Guidelines for Distribution
Logo files are free game (mostly). Please feel free to download and use NACD’s logos appropriately. For most applications, a .JPG or .PNG file type will work best. If you have a specific request or questions about NACD’s branding guidelines or style guide, please contact Director of Communications Whitney Forman-Cook. Official templates are for NACD staff use only. NACD’s official templates – such as NACD letterhead, one-pagers, and PowerPoint presentation templates – are not available for district or partner use. If you have a specific request for a template, contact Director of Communications Whitney Forman-Cook.

11 Final Thoughts NACD’s transition to using this new logo exclusively is nearly finished. Please help us make the final steps toward full integration by: Distributing this PowerPoint to those who may use NACD’s logo now or in the future, Mentioning NACD’s new logo and branding guidelines in your next newsletter or communication with your board, and Saving NACD’s new logo in place of the old one wherever it currently appears in your communications moving forward. If NACD can help your district or state association with this transition, please contact us.

12 Questions? The Chat function is now live. You may type in your questions on the left side of your screen.
