Exponential Relations
- Rapid growth or decay
- Used a lot in science
ex. Nuclear material, bacteria growth etc
Exponential Relation Ratio
- Divide consecutive y values
- If the ratio is constant, it is exponential.
- If the ratio is not constant, it is not exponential.

5. Exponential Decay
-An exponential function that results in a decreasing quantity
-Its graph is a downward curve
Half Life
-The time it takes for a quantity to decrease to half its original amount
-commonly used to calculate how many years until nuclear material is half as much.

6. Exponential Growth
- An exponential function that results in an increasing quantity.
- Its graph is a upward curve.
Doubleing Period
- The time it takes for a quantity to double in amount from its original amount.
- It is commonly used in bacteria growth and how long it takes for the number of bacteria in a sample to double.
