The focus of discipleship must be outward
“The final goal of biblical discipleship is going, not knowing”

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Those who want to become disciples of Christ
• The Lord desires all believers to follow him

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
