Arctic and North West Region The Inuit [Eskimos] have inhabited the region. Lived by hunting and fishing Kwakiutl, Nootka and Haida Peoples lived along the pacific coast of Southern Alaska to Northern California. They collected shell fish and hunted whales and seals. 5 Peoples of the Southwest
The area included New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Anasazi People established a farming society. They used irrigation to grow crops in the desert. They lived in pueblos made of adobes.
