 Place more emphasis on direct observation as a basis for drawing. • Use drawing to add details, texture or to create pattern including drawing for high detail. • Make quick sketches. • Make drawings from a wide range of viewpoints. • Experiment with blind contour drawing and continuous line drawing. • Use drawing media to achieve gradations of tone or value in drawings
Component 4 MAIN FORMS AND PROPORTIONS: Students will perfect forms and develop more realistic treatments. B. Many shapes are symmetrical. C. Images can be portrayed in varying degrees of realism.
2. Learning Activities
Draw quick sketches of the hands.
Complete a drawing that is half done, paying special attention to gradations of tone in the shading as well as details
Create a 3D tulip by cutting and folding paper to produce petals and leaves.

 Students will turn in their artwork for assessment via rubric

Discovery Learning- As students create, they problem solve and draw on their past experiences while they make the art.
9. Addressing Learner Diversity:
I will wear a mike so our student who is hard of hearing can hear me. I will also tap him on the shoulder when I need his attention and look in his direction when I am speaking. Directions will be written on the board.
Students who have difficulties paying attention will move closer to me.
Art pieces will be simpler or more complex depending on the abilities of the students.
