Sacraments Sunday Mass: at Aliamanu Military Reservation Chapel (AMR) 1100 at Main Post Chapel, Schofield Barracks (MPC) Child care is available during Sunday Mass and Religious Education. Reconciliation: Reconciliation is available by appointment only. Please contact Father Joe or Father Jason via . There will be no Reconciliation on Sunday by the presiding priest because they are spiritually preparing for Mass and often have to celebrate Mass at both chapel communities. Marriage: Please contact Father Joe or Father Jason at least six months prior to anticipated date of wedding. Mandatory Pre-Cana classes are required. Baptism: Bi-monthly celebrations. Preparation class required. Please RSVP for class. Next MPC Baptism Class: January at 1830 Next AMR Baptism: January during Mass Next MPC Baptism: January at 1200 Community Announcements Mahalo for everyone’s extra love and support to make this past weekend’s celebration extra special. Both choir’s music compilation of carols and prayers brought a deep element of prayer and joy to our Masses. Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us, and for your continued support to our Holy Mass. The next holy day of obligation is the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. Mass will be celebrated 31 Dec at 1730 at both chapels. Are you working on your New Year’s resolutions for 2019? Do you want to grow in your faith? How about joining the “Through the Bible in a Year” challenge? Ute Eble for a schedule that allows you to read the whole bible with daily readings that take about 20 minutes. If you are wanting to have any of your children under six years old baptized; please know that there are no baptisms during Lent. If you are wanting to have your child baptized by 3 March, you will need to attend a baptism class, get the necessary paperwork for Godparents and schedule it on the first Sunday at AMR or the third Sunday after Mass at MPC. Our priests have many TDY’s between now and 3 March, so these dates are firm. Please Ute Eble with any questions. AMR CWOC meets on Thursdays from 9:00-11:30 at AMR Chapel Center for Mass, brunch, fellowship and faith formation and is open to all women. An evening study meets from in the activity room for those unable to make the day meeting.  Childcare will be provided for the morning session.  We are currently on break and will resume 17 Jan. Our service projects will continue throughout the break, so please be on the lookout for that information. MPC CWOC would like to invite you to join our meetings, which are held Wednesdays from in Room D9 at MPC. Childcare is available at no cost, and children are also welcome in the meetings. We are on break and meetings will begin again after this holiday season. Please join our Facebook group, Schofield Barracks CWOC for details and up to date information. AMR Men’s Bible Study will meet on 5 January at 0730 in the activity room. All men are welcome to join for breakfast and faith formation! Looking forward to the next semester! Pacific Club has a mission for adults who have a passion for working with teens. Our students would especially benefit from having Catholic voices speaking into their lives. Life Teen holds regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Saturday at 1815 after the Saturday Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Community on JBPHH. Religious Education Religious Education for this school year will run through 19 May 2019. Classes are held weekly from with various holidays and long weekends off. Any adult interested in learning more about the faith is welcome to join the Parent Faith Formation class once a month on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The dates are: 01/06, 02/03, 03/03, 04/14,  and 05/05. Our program is "The Mass" by Word on Fire/Bishop Barron.  For questions about the Religious Education program, please contact Ute Eble. Her is on the back of the bulletin. Family Night will be held on Tuesdays starting with Mass at 1700 at AMR. Family Night will be held on Wednesdays at 1800 at MPC. Family Night programs will include dinner followed by religious education curriculum and methods that will allow your family to explore and practice your faith together in as a family. First Communion is at both chapels on 19 May 2019.
