Mrs. Norton’s Classroom News
For the week of DEC. 10th - DEC. 14th What did we do this week? I’m sure you have heard, we have an Elf on the Shelf in our classroom! His name is Sprinkles. He has been finding new hiding places each day and reminding us to be on our best behavior. Each student has an Elf journal and each day they write one or two sentences describing the elf’s new shenanigans. This activity has been extremely motivational and engaging for our budding readers and writers This week we reviewed numbers We practiced counting to 100. The class really enjoyed creating a hidden picture by locating and coloring numbers on the hundred chart. Everyone worked in their alphabet art book. We have completed letters A-G so far. It has been fun to review all of the anchor chart words that we created at the beginning of the school year.
