To provide employers with “low skilled, low paid” labor force (“import of foreign labor force”)
To fil the gabs in the reproduction area, especially ater the mass entry of Cypriot women in the labor market

The migration model of Cyprus looks very similar to the so called KEFALA system in Lebanon and the other Middle east countries
Timely limited irrespective of availability of employment
Recruitment and management by private agencies
Tide connection of residency and work permit with one employer
Strong control over the migrant (living in, high compensation fees, confiscation of documents )
To avoid the permanent stay of the migrants in the Cyprus

At this early stage we can only speak about the methodology for the organisation
KISA will work out in cooperation with the lead partner a paper and share with the rest of the partners in order to lay down the procedures to be follow in order to guarantee the participation of all partners in the preparation, the conduct and the dissemination of the Conference
