SBE may be used if all you require is scheduled and predictable runs such as statements, batched daily invoicing and remittance runs. If you are running 24/7 and require immediate output of transactions as they happen, you should use the Enterprise version. Enterprise is priced to be CHEAPER than SBE at a reasonable numbers of printers. Copyright © All rights reserved, TCG Information Systems Pty. Limited.

Small Business Edition is a standard Windows GUI program running as a single task and the equivalent of running Word. SBE functions like the Enterprise Client, in fact we use the same manuals for both. SBE has obvious security issues - user is logged on, has Web access, has access and will requires regular reboot of the machine for non-FormTrap events where FormTrap will need to be manually re-started. Enterprise Edition is a service, on Windows 2012 / 2008 Server, runs under R2, runs in a if you want to. FormTrap Server runs all of the time, and is modified and viewed via a Client (often on another machine). FormTrap Server keeps running whether or not a client is active. FormTrap Server runs for months at a time on a very secure platform, with all the security inherent. Auto-runs on restart. Copyright © All rights reserved, TCG Information Systems Pty. Limited.
