What is a reflection? A reflection is a transformation with the following properties: If a point is on the line of reflection, the point remains the same in the reflection If a point is not on the line of reflection, then the line of reflection is the perpendicular bisector of the segment between the two.

What does that even mean?
Point A and Point A’ are the same! Point B and Point B’ are the same distance from line m.

Properties of Reflections
Reflections preserve distance Reflections preserve angle measure Reflections map each point of the preimage to one and only one corresponding point of its image.

the line of reflection Are the sides of the parallelogram still parallel?
