Very Low E.S.R. Very Low Impedance Characteristics Stable Capacitance vs. Temp. and Frequency Voltage De-rating is not required Stable Capacitance and E.S.R. vs. temperature More difficult to ignite and smoke than tantalum. High capacitance at reduced case height.

Applications Hi Frequency DC/DC converter input and output bulk capacitance. Attenuate noise on low voltage DC bus. Bulk capacitance to prevent transient voltage droop and overshoot at CPU. Ripple voltage reduction on the output of hi frequency switching power supplies.
