5. Act V – Film Viewing
Task Note your reactions and observations you watch each film version of Romeo and Juliet. Write down a few key words to describe characters, setting, tone, mood, etc. How well does each version “match” the images you created in your mind while reading? What do the similarities/differences between each interpretation suggest about the time period in which each film was made?
