B. Preliminary Report for Team includes:
1. Dept. goals and objectives.
2. Catalog copy.
3. Personnel summary: Cv’s and syllabi for each faculty member.
4. Dept. Resource/facility summary.
5. Multicultural initiative statement.
6. Questions solicited from constituents across campus.
7. Dept's response to those questions.

8. Review Student Learning Assessment plan for majors:
effectiveness, changes made based on assessment, and
planned changes in assessment process.
9. Balance Statement...(Trustee Mandate).
10. Alumni (1-10 yrs) survey results.
11. Department chair/office operation evaluation reports.
12. Identification of the perceived strengths and.....
13. Identification of areas of concern or of conditions that limit
the effectiveness of the department.

C. Team Visit (1.5-2 days): Interviews with faculty, staff, students and administration, Reflection on materials and interviews, Outline final report.
D. Review team report submitted to Chair/Dean.
E. Dept. response to report
