4 Revision “The emergent text crystallizes new meanings selecting from the language and representations already within the intertextual space.” (139) “Viewing style as an outgrowth of genre-shaped emergent meanings provides a way of looking at revision as recognizing and heightening the expressive dimensions already taking shape in the earlier drafts.” (140)

What are all the potential things that can be a part of the revision process? What does revision look like? What are strategies that you use to revise? What are strategies that you could or should use? Use the section “Revision for Style and Beyond” on pages to help frame your discussion. Hear from at least 3 groups

6 Revision FREEWRITE: Describe what you have produced so far in your writing process. Detail what you hope to accomplish with this piece — what is it that you are trying to get across?
