Standard WA 2.1 Objective: Narrative Writing Application Narratives tell a story, either fictional or nonfictional, and are often based on personal experience. The writing process includes pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing. We will condense these and focus on the planning, writing, and revision. Write narratives that (1) provide a context within which an action takes place (2) include well-chosen details to develop the plot; and (3) provide insight into why this incident is memorable. Objective: Narrative Writing Application
Standard WA 2.1 Objective: Narrative Writing Application We will now focus on the planning by creating a Tree Map. Read the prompt below to yourself as I read it out loud. Write about a time when you were surprised. It could have been a birthday party or when you got something you had not expected. It could be when you planned something and it did not turn out the way you thought it would. It could have been when someone came for a surprise visit. Surprises can be funny, scary, or exciting.
