1. Thesaurus & Dictionary Use
Learning Goals:
- Students will be able to consult reference materials to write effectively and analyze writing effectively

2. Paragraph Writing
Use the two featured words of the day and one word of your choosing to write a paragraph detailing what “storytelling” is
Use words from your thesaurus activity yesterday to also inform your writing process
Your paragraph should be 5-8 sentences

3. Paragraph Analysis
Analyze/evaluate the writing sample you have been given
Select 5-8 words that you may not know or that you could look up thesaurus equivalents for

4. Compare/Contrast
Write a three sentence compare/contrast between how you used the thesaurus for writing versus how you used it for reading.
