Unit 6 essay You have an opportunity to rewrite and ask for help on your essay Once you’re happy with your essay: Highlight or underline your thesis in your intro paragraph Highlight or underline your evidence in your body paragraphs Grade your essay based on the rubric provided (the half sheet you picked up) By January 12, you need to turn in your original essay, rewritten essay, and your rubric stapled all together If you don’t rewrite your essay, on your in class essay please write “did not rewrite”

What to expect on exam day
You’ll sit alphabetically in rows I’ll ask that you pull out your cell phones As a class we’ll Turn off phones Put your name on it I’ll hold on to them until everyone has finished…please don’t make this more difficult then it has to be I’ll read a script provided by the state They’ll be another adult in the room to make sure everything is supposed to happen I will not be able to answer content or vocabulary questions The test should take 2-3 hours Bring a book to read If everyone shows up on their test day on time AND no one makes my life difficult over cell phones I’ll have a really nice treat for you on Jan 21st
