Use evolution vocabulary words (minimum of 4) in your story
4 pts
1 colored paper for outside cover and 3 white sheets for story. Fold in half and staple along fold.
Decorate your cover page (colored). Include the title of your story and your name on front cover.

First white page (page 1) – title page includes Title, Name and Period.
2 pts
Pages 2 – 3 include a picture of the whole population (p.2) and the beginning of the story (p.3)

Story
Pages 4-5: your population of creatures is separated into 2 groups through an isolating mechanism. Write about what happens to the population (p.4) and draw a picture of the isolation event (p.5)
Examples of isolating event – flood, volcanic eruption, earthquake, etc.

Pages 6-7: Your 2 isolated populations will each develop adaptations to their new environments. Write about how they adapt to the new environment (p.6) Drawing should include 2 environments, 2 creatures with new adaptations (p7).
Pages 8-9: complete your story (p.8) the 2 populations can no longer breed with one another. Describe how 2 species are different.
Draw pictures of your 2 species with their different adaptations (p.9)
